  • Classical Education is a model of learning which aims to teach children how to think for themselves. It is a liberal arts approach to learning which focuses on:* Critical Thinking * Communication * Character

    We will emphasize Christ-like character, learn Latin, study the classics, teach critical thinking, practice cursive and lean heavy on memorization through songs.

  • Yes… haha. Planting Oaks is a homeschool drop-off program like a hybrid, AND we are a community that desires active participation and partnership with the parents like a co-op. We believe homeschooling is better when done in community, and Planting Oaks seeks to be that community for you.

  • Yes, this is not a three day school week program. This is still a five day school week program, three of those days will be on location with Planting Oaks and two will be in your home.

    Depending on the grade, Friday’s could be a lighter load for sure, but we still want everyone to understand you are still expected and required to continue the school work for the week at home.

  • The maximum students for most classes will be 10 students with 1 tutor.

    6th grade the maximum will be 15 with 1 tutor.

  • We are not a Step Up for Student provider however we will provide you with the receipts to help the reimbursement process go as smooth as possible.

    Ultimately, you will be responsible for your child’s tuition and getting reimbursed from the scholarship if you choose to use it.
